Even if you would never be able to become a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police there are several associations that cater for individuals with a keen interest in roleplay, with or without elaborate costumes.

If the Mountie quotient in the area where you decide to settle seem overpopulated, there are several other strong, silent male sterotypes alternatives out there for you, such as the Mariachi, the Hashassin, or the Racoon Trapper.
