Dear mountie, Is it true that ones tastebuds change every few years (I have been told 7) & that one may enjoy foods they previously did not because of it?
Perplexed
Dear Perplexed
That’s BOLONEY!
Your taste-buds doesn’t change, and even when you’re very old you are likely to have at least 70% of your taste-buds still in full working order.
What might change is your perception of food, and your ideas of what and what isn’t enjoyable. (prawn cocktail, anyone?)
Yours Truly
Mr Mountie
