Do I have a legal case against Shreddies?

Dear Mountie

I dont know if you have the Breakfast cereal ‘Shreddies’ in Canada, but its very popular over here in the UK. Now, they have an advertising strapline ‘Keeps hunger locked up till lunch’. I had shreddies at 7, and now it is 10.30 and I am ravenously hungry. Do I have a legal case against them?

If you study the smallprint at the left hand side of the packet, just below the Nutritional information You will notice a “Hunger Getting out Early due to Good Behaviour” clause.
I’m afraid you have no legal comeback whatsoever.
